With its sweeping driveway, pretty tiled hallway and an impressive & beautiful 315 acres of grounds, Oakley Hall Hotel truly is a hidden treasure in the rolling countryside of North Hampshire.The building dates back to 1795 and was formerly owned by the Bramston Family who were close friends of Jane Austen. It is mentioned fondly in Austen’s letters to her sister Cassandra at the turn of the 19th century.
Oakley Hall Hotel has undergone an extensive refurbishment in 2014 and now offers 47 elegant bedrooms in both the main house and converted 19th century stable block along with a three bedroom gingerbread style cottage. All bedrooms have been individually designed and furnished to a very high standard complete with every modern convenience and home comfort.
The stunning 2 AA Rosette Glasshouse Restaurant offers a ‘mouth-watering All Day Menu’, based on fresh local produce including Oakley Hall Hotel’s very own Kitchen Garden.
The modern 1795 Bar & Lounge is where you can enjoy a relaxing drink in a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
We are a dog friendly hotel each dog will be welcomed to one of our designated dog-friendly Courtyard rooms with a bed, blanket, water & food bowls, a bag of treats and waste bags. With private parking & quick access to our hotel grounds the Courtyard is just a short walk from the main hotel. There will be an additional charge of £35 per dog per stay.
Dogs are welcome on our outdoor Garden Terrace area of the Glasshouse Restaurant, provided they are well-behaved and do not disturb our other guests. It is mandatory that all dogs are kept on the lead in public areas of the property. check out our website for up to date details

M4 Exit J13 - Follow signs to A34 South - continue past Newbury. Exit road signed Whitchurch and turn left onto B3400 signed Basingstoke. Continue B3400 past Freefolk and Overton. Pass Deane Gate Pub on right, continue up hill Oakley Hall is signed on right..M4 Exit J6 - follow sign to Basingstoke and then onto A339 to Newbury. At 2nd roundabout, turn left onto Roman Road - at end of road, turn right at mini-roundabout and onto B3400 to Oakley.Continue past Newfound and through Oakley. Under railway bridge and past Beach Arms, Oakley Hall is one mile on the left.
By Train: Nearest Mainline Station - Basingstoke - 50 minutes to London Waterloo. Oakley Hall is 10 mins by taxi
