Originally built in 1901 as a large Victorian/Edwardian house, Avon Manor has served as a guest house in Lee-on-the-Solent for many years.
Lee is a pleasant, quiet spot, convenient for visits to tourist attractions such as Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, the D-Day Museum, Gunwharf Quays, the Spinnaker Tower as well as more local attractions like Explosion! and the Submarine Museum. We are within easy driving distance of Portsmouth and Southampton with the M27 only about 15 minutes away and well placed for visits further afield to Chichester, Winchester and the Isle of Wight.
Avon Manor are a friendly, family run guest house tucked away in a quiet residential spot, just off the seafront. A two-minute walk to the end of the road will take you to the beach, overlooking the Solent - one of our busiest waterways with plenty to see – from small sailing dinghies to huge cruise liners and everything in between!
There are a couple of pub/restaurants within easy walking distance and many more in the town centre, approximately half a mile away.
Whether you are a business person, looking for somewhere to stay while working locally or you are here visiting family or friends, for a wedding, party or just for a relaxing break, Avon Manor are perfectly placed to make your stay a pleasant and comfortable one.
