The Kings Head Inn

About

For those seeking the traditional Cotswold experience or those who have a desire for walking the King’s Head, sitting behind the village green, ticks all the boxes. Visitors are introduced by traditional stone buildings and flagstone flooring harping back the days of the ‘ye olde pube’. Originating from a 16th-century cider house, the bar area is decorated with time-honoured open fires and oak furniture, ensuring an authentic British pub atmosphere.

On further exploration of the warren-like areas, you will find exposed stone walls and old timber beams leading to a pleasant cobbled courtyard complete with pergola and colourful flowers. Hosts Archie and Nicola Orr-Ewing extend a warm hearty greeting in the bustling bar where a wide choice of ales and wines can be consumed.

Dine out on wholesome British food, which is served in the separate dining room and where only the finest local ingredients are assured. A choice of accommodation is available; in charming rooms above the pub or, suitable for those requiring more space, set back in the courtyard. But which ever room you decide to stay in, all are fitted with modern comforts and tastefully decorated.

Rooms: 12 with en-suite £90 to £110
