Wightrider offers a variety of vintage buses for you to enjoy on the 11th & 12th October. This event is perfect for all ages, from families looking for a fun day out to transport enthusiasts eager for a nostalgic experience.
Enjoy a free ride on classic buses, available on a first come, first served basis.
A detailed bus programme for the weekend is available for purchase. While it's not required to ride the buses, all proceeds from the programme sales help support the maintance of the buses and ongoing development of the Isle of Wight Bus & Coach Museum.
Founded in 1996, the Isle of Wight Bus & Coach Museum is operated by a dedicated team of volunteers. The Wightrider event features an impressive collection of vintage buses and coaches, all lovingly maintained and restored at the museum. Located in Ryde, the museum is open to the public as a popular visitor attraction.
