Come and see what Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve has to offer for families who home educate.
As we open the newly refurbished Visitor Centre at Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve, find out about some of the activities we have on offer throughout the year at the reserve for families who home educate.
Our Home Ed Forest School runs termly on Monday afternoons, and is all about den-building, stick-whittling, fire-making, marshmallow-toasting time outside. Whatever the weather, we're here to entertain and inspire your children. Forest School activities are proven to improve self-esteem, confidence and resilience and to develop key skills for independent learning.
Between 12.30 and 2pm on Monday 2 March, you'll be able to meet the team who lead Home Ed Forest School, see some typical activities happening and visit the areas of the reserve regularly used during the sessions on a short tour. The team will be happy to answer any questions from parents and children to help you decide if Forest School at Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve is right for all of you- we're sure it will be!
Join us at this Welcome to Sevenoaks opportunity and you'll receive a 2 for 1 coffee voucher to use either during your visit or when you return to the reserve during March.
Whether you were a regular before the building project started or have never visited before, come along for this opportunity to meet some of the Kent Wildlife Trust team and discover how the reserve might become your (and your family's) new favourite place to be!
