Victoria Day is back on Saturday 7 June from 10am to 4pm in Aldershot town centre. This year's theme is 'wonderful water' and we'll be having some sea-rious fun!
Visit Union Street, Wellington Street and Princes Gardens between 10am and 4pm for an ocean commotion of fun, free activities, fantastic craft and community stalls, live entertainment, fair rides, and delicious food and drink.
Head to Princes Gardens for live music, dance and workshops on the bandstand throughout the day, fishy themed make-and-take crafts, splash-tastic street theatre, a quiet storytelling area, fair rides and much more. Plus, don't miss our circus skills area and aerial performers alongside Princes Gardens Surgery and a small classic car display in Princes Way from 12.30pm.
Over on Union Street, there's watery stilt walkers, puppet performers, the Giant Bubble Man, face painters, hands-on creature encounters, Lego building and lots more live music and dance.
This year, the carnival parade will be bigger and more colourful than ever before, with spectacular costumes and puppets. The amazing 'Wonderful Water' carnival parade leaves Princes Hall at 11am, ending at the High Street Multi-storey car park. Aldershot's own Queen Victoria, Betty Bryce will be leading the procession of over 1,000 local people.
