Chiltern Open Air Museum's famous Terrific Tuesdays are themed family craft and activity days organised by the Museum's Education Team. The theme this May half-term is wellbeing. Activities include making a newspaper pot and planting a seed to grow at home, making a stress ball, Hands on Clay modelling with the Dacorum and Chiltern Potters Guild and storytelling. All Terrific Tuesday activities are included within the standard admission price.
In addition to the special Terrific Tuesday activities, you can explore the 45-acre site and the collection of over 30 historic buildings to discover how people used to live and work. There is a working historic farm with goats, sheep, cows, chickens and ducks, adventure playground, shop, woodland, cafe, gardens and candle making.
Museum open 10am to 5pm and Terrific Tuesday activities run 11am until 3.30pm.
