This Coronation weekend special event offers a unique opportunity to step back in time and explore the fascinating history of this 200-year-old fortification.
Throughout the day, you’ll be able to witness first hand the skills and crafts of living history groups as they bring history to life with interactive displays and demonstrations. You’ll also have the chance to explore the various nooks and crannies of Priddy’s Hard, from the 18th century ramparts to the hidden sally port.
The Fort Cumberland Guard is providing five unique displays to commemorate the Coronation of His Majesty during the day: Coronation Gun Salute - cannon firing demonstrations, musket demonstrations and a flag ceremony.
Whether you’re a history buff or simply looking for a fun and educational day out with the family, the Historic Ramparts Open Day at Priddy’s Hard is not to be missed.
Come along on May 7th and walk through 200+ years of history at the Historic Ramparts Open Day at Priddy’s Hard! Free entry
