Sponsored by The Great Britain Sasakawa Foundation the Hanami Festival at Brogdale Farm is a unique opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in Japanese culture amidst the breathtaking backdrop of blossoming orchards in springtime. Brogdale really does have a sight to see!
Our National Fruit Collection guides will be leading tours of the blossom orchards while author, Naoko Abe: 'Cherry' Ingram, The Englishman Who Saved Japan's Blossoms will be hosting a talk about her book and a tour of the cherry blossom. Visitors will be able to bring their picnics and celebrate the start of spring as the Hanami tradition suggests.
This is an all day event from 10am – 3pm
Adult ticket (16yrs+) £15
Under 16 years are FREE
Brogdale has a farm shop and café on site. (All closed on Mondays)
Brogdale has unlimited free parking & accessible toilets.
Dogs not permitted in the orchards at anytime.
