This accurately-measured course starts outside The Grand on The Leas, passes through the coastal park before and an out and back to Hythe. The event has fantastic support from local community groups and has a friendly race day vibe. If you are new to the half marathon distance, this is the perfect race to start your longer distance running journey. Whilst the majority of the race is a relatively flat promenade run with real PB potential, there are a couple of hills to add a little additional challenge to your race day! An unforgettable race... so good that you'll want to return year after year!
CHARITY Race Entry
If you select to register for the race on a CHARITY ticket, then your entry will include a £5 donation to the Folkestone Rotary Club.
The Rotary club raises valuable funds for the local community and has a long standing tradition of service and dedication to both local and international causes. By purchasing a charity entry, you'll be contributing to a variety of projects that address critical issues such as health, education and poverty in your local entry and beyond.
