Towering sculptures by renowned ceramicist Felicity Aylieff come to Petworth House and Park for the first time.
The exhibition takes place across the whole property including installations throughout the house, and two monolithic obelisks in the grounds.
Expressions in Blue continues Petworth’s history of collaboration with contemporary artists. Occupying several rooms throughout the mansion, highlights include the Marble Hall, view from the Petworth’s Grand Staircase, and outside two soaring obelisks stand between the house and the Upper Pond.
In the exhibition gallery, film and photographs reveal the remarkable process of making these along with a selection of Aylieff’s fascinating mark-making tools.
The exhibition runs from 23rd May - 27th September and is included within standard admission ticket.
Exhibition is included in with house and garden ticket
