Cowdray Maize Maze

About

Cowdray's Maize Maze is Back – With a Wild West Twist!

Looking for a brilliant day out with the kids this summer? Cowdray's Maize Maze is returning this August - and it's bigger, better, and more exciting than ever, with a brand-new Wild West theme!

Set in the heart of the beautiful Cowdray Estate in West Sussex, this fun-filled adventure is perfect for families of all ages. Get ready to lose yourself (just a little!) in the towering maze, complete the Wild West stamp trail, and see if you can spot all six themed stations on your way through.

Explore, Learn & Play
At the start of the maze, children will receive their very own stamp sheet to complete along the trail as they answer the questions correctly - it's the perfect mix of fun, learning, and a little bit of friendly challenge!

Pick Your Own Flowers
After conquering the maze, stroll through the colourful sunflower and wildflower patch, where you can pick your own bunch to take home (£7.50). It's a great way to end your adventure and capture some beautiful family memories.

Tasty Treats at the Maze
No family day out is complete without something tasty! Pop into the Maze Café for refreshing drinks, ice cream, and delicious hot food, all locally sourced.

Picnics are also welcome at the Maize Maze, making it easy to enjoy a relaxing family lunch outdoors. For convenience, Cowdray Farm Shop - just a short walk away - offers an excellent range of picnic items, perfect for a delicious and hassle-free meal amid the beautiful surroundings.

Dog Friendly
Well-behaved dogs on leads are warmly welcomed, so the whole family - including your four-legged members - can enjoy the fresh air and adventure together.

Special Friday Nights – Sip & Snip Evenings
For families with older kids (or for parents on a well-deserved evening out!), our Friday evenings offer a relaxed vibe with flower picking, live acoustic music, and tasty street food from The Yellow Kitchen — all set against the beautiful backdrop of the Sussex countryside.

Don't Miss the Harvest Hoe Down – Saturday 9th August
Get your cowboy boots on for a fantastic evening of country music and dancing at our Harvest Hoe Down. There'll be live music from The Honky Tonk Angels, Wild West games, a rodeo bull, and loads of family fun.
