About

A 17th-century house set in varied and intimate gardens, with spectacular views over the South Downs to the Solent. Free to enter, the gardens offer tranquil seating areas, meadow walks and picturesque picnic spots.

Our Gardens, Cafe and Second-hand bookshop are free to enter.

You don't need a ticket to visit the gardens at Uppark, but please go to Visitor Reception when you arrive.

Cycle parking is available in the car park, or bikes are welcome in the gardens once dismounted. Uppark House and Garden is located in beautiful countryside ideal for more experienced cyclists. It is close to both the South Downs Way and King Alfreds Way, two popular off-road cycling routes.
