Bug Show slots at 10am, 11am and 1pm daily.
Bug Hunts at 11am, 12am and 2pm – no need to book just join in!

Book your bug show and then join in a mini beast hunt around the orchard and Wildlife Garden.

Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Close Encounters with the LIVE BUGS!

Book your Live Bug Show time and meet the giant insects & more! 1 Hour Show (Book, then spend the whole day discovering, exploring and having fun!)

Meet an impressive collection of mega bugs, including giant cockroaches, millipedes, tarantulas, scorpions, stick insects, snails and more!

The displays are educational, fun and packed full of weird, wonderful and cute animals, that children wouldn't usually get a chance to meet including snails, scorpions, beetle larvae, tarantulas and lots more.

The displays allow children to become involved and close up to a variety of animals either by touching, holding or just by looking.

Orchard Bug Explorers
Hunt for bugs in the orchards, meadow and wildlife garden. See where they live in the wild! Learn all about these interesting creatures and why they are so important to us. You will be led by our education leader who will help you find the best beasties at Brogdale!

Visit the Orchards – self guided tour
Go on a self guided walk and explore the National Fruit Collection orchards with the children. See if you can spot anything interesting on the way.

Outdoor Craft

Make your very own bugs and beasts to take home using modelling clay and scavenged beastie bits!

Ticket price:
£15.00 per child plus accompanying adult
Additional child £10.50

Additional adults can purchase a day pass from the Tours and Ticket Office on the day of the event

Day ticket includes LIVE Bug show, Orchard Explorer Bug Hunt, Self Guided Orchard Tour & Outdoor Crafts!

All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Not Suitable for children under 4 yrs.

Brogdale has a farm shop and café on site. (All closed on Mondays)

Brogdale has unlimited free parking, accessible toilets and a café.

Dogs not permitted in the orchards at anytime.
