Nutley Edge is a beautiful rural property overlooking the stunning landscape of the Ashdown Forest, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We offer some of the most picturesque holiday cottages in East Sussex.
Originally a working farm, the buildings were converted into self-catering holiday cottages in 2011 and opened to the public soon after. Nutley Edge is the perfect destination for couples, families or groups looking to ‘get away from it all’ and enjoy the peace and quiet of the East Sussex countryside.
One of the many reasons that people choose Nutley Edge Cottages is our extensive choice of self-catering accommodation. You can choose from twelve bright, spacious, open-plan cottages that sleep up to four people, plus the 17th century Old Farmhouse that sleeps up to eight. Two of our cottages are fully wheelchair-accessible. We also have an exclusive glamping area with two 4 metre bell tents, You will enjoy wonderful views over the rolling hills and surrounding forest.
We also have two exclusive glamping areas with 1 x 5m and 1 x 4 metre bell tent in each with kitchen area and compostable toilet. Shower cubicles and toilet facilities available at the top of the site.
Nutley Edge is owned by London based charity Outward.

Nutley Edge Cottages, Horney Common Road, Uckfield, East Sussex, TN22 3EE
From Nutley:
As you leave the village of Nutley, continue along the A22 towards Uckfield. You will find Nutley Edge on the left about a mile from the village.
From Uckfield:
Follow the signs to London (A22) over four roundabouts. You will pass Nutley Edge on your right about a mile before you enter the village of Nutley

By rail
There are two train stations near to Nutley Edge.
Buxted rail station: Distance: 3.1 miles Trains to: London and Uckfield When: Hourly
Uckfield train station: Distance: 3.3 miles Trains to: London. No services south beyond Uckfield When: Hourly

Buxted and Uckfield train stations do not have a taxi rank or cab office. Advance booking of taxis is essential.
