BERKSHIRE WINES SINCE 1979
Since 1979 Stanlake Park Wine Estate has developed some of the highest quality vineyards in Berkshire, and uses grapes from these properties to produce a wide range of English wines, including white, rosé, red and traditional method sparkling wine.
Nico Centonze, Stanlake Park’s skillful Italian winemaker, personally follows the progress of each wine, carefully tasting, blending and selecting which wines to bottle or to mature. The whole wine making process, from vine to bottle, is meticulously overseen and guaranteed.
Winemaking takes place within a 17th Century Reformation barn which houses the largest winery in Berkshire, capable of handling over 200 tonnes of fruit in any one season. Our disgorging line was one of the first being used in England. The fastidious attention to detail in the vineyard continues in the winery, where the entire process is carefully monitored and controlled by our expert winemaker.
The success of both our own wine and the wine made for other regional vineyards has led Stanlake Park Wine Estate to become one of the largest and best-known wine makers in Berkshire.
VINEYARD TOURS & WINE TASTINGS
We offer Vineyard Tours & Wine Tastings every weekend, all year round. Our tours are designed to be friendly, informal and fun! No prior knowledge is required as our experienced guide will lead you through the ups and downs of English wine-making, accompanied by some generous samples of our very best award-winning wines.
You'll visit some of our vines inside the walled garden (weather permitting) before being taken through the winery to see the wine-making process. You'll see the grape-pressing area, the fermentation tanks, the barrel room, the 'fizz' room and the bottling line.
The tour includes the tasting of 6 wines (2 sparkling, 1 rosé, 2 whites and 1 red). Wines availability might change during the year, but you will always taste six wines in total. If you choose our Cheese & Wine Tours, you will also sample a selection of English cheese together with crackers and chutneys.
GIFT SHOP & WINE BAR
At Stanlake Park we also have a charming Gift Shop & Wine Bar, open every day, where you can purchase all our wines together with a large selection of gifts and accessories. Enjoy a glass of wine in our Wine Bar Garden or cozy indooors. We also sell local beer and cider, Italian coffee, soft drinks and a selection of snacks and nibbles.
You're always welcome to pop in, within our opening times and without booking, to enjoy a glass of wine, beer or cider with a selection of snacks, or enjoy a real Italian coffee, a tea or a soft drink. If the weather is nice you can stay in our lovely garden, otherwise, you can relax inside the shop in one of our tables or refurnished oak barrels.
Stanlake Park is also a stunning vineyard wedding venue, complete with luxury holiday accommodation.
We're on the Elizabeth Line route, reaching central London in 40 minutes. The vineyard is only a short walk on pavements from Twyford train station.
