In Didcot, the family-friendly Steam Gala comes to Didcot Railway Centre (11 - 13 September) ahead of their festive Steam into Christmas event (5,6, 12, 13, 19 - 23 December). A major new exhibition at Blenheim Palace (now until 1 November), Dinosaurs Are Forever - is a must-see attraction featuring five monumental articulated sculptures for all ages to enjoy. 2026 marks the 50th anniversary of Agatha Christie’s death. To commemorate the milestone, Wallingford Museum is hosting a special exhibition, 'Agatha Christie’s Wallingford', exploring her life at Winterbrook House and her deep connection to the town.  Autumn is the perfect time to visit Hook Norton Brewery and discover how the hops and grains harvested at this time of year are transformed into beer.  Experience the aromas of a working Victorian brewer, watch the brewers at work and then enjoy a pint at the Malthouse Kitchen or visit one of its 32 pubs within the local area.
