In Didcot, the family-friendly Steam Gala returns to Didcot Railway Centre (11 - 13 September), ahead of the festive Steam into Christmas event in December. At Blenheim Palace, Dinosaurs Are Forever is a must see, featuring five monumental dinosaur articulated sculptures until 1 November, while Terror on the Thames in Henley-on-Thames offers free family-friendly Halloween fun on 30 October. 2026 marks the 50th anniversary of Agatha Christie’s death, with Wallingford Museum hosting a special exhibition exploring her connection to the town.
