Without electricity or central heating, people living during Baroque-era Europe must
have spent half the year feeling rather cold. What better (or cheaper) way to warm
up than to gather together for a tipple? And for entertainment… music!
From gods to lowly humans, royalty to sailors, we'll recreate a cellar-full of drink-
inspired scenes for you to enjoy. From opera arias and solo songs to alehouse jigs
and pieces for everyone to sing (yes, including our dear audience), we're very happy
to be raising a glass to this squiffy musical output.
