From Saturday 22 July – Sunday 3 September, visitors to Tapnell Farm Park can enjoy a bonanza of summer fun with even more all-weather family entertainment than ever before! Here’s a quick summary of all the extra activities and evening entertainment you won’t want to miss!
As well as their award-winning farm play (bouncy pillows, sledge slides, pedal go-karts, straw bale fun …) and animals to meet and greet (wallabies, meerkats, goats, donkeys, pigs, alpacas …) there is also...
Daily from 22 July – 3 September:
Catch their daily falconry displays in the events barn; marvel as these beautiful birds swoop and dive over your head, and find out more about them from the handlers. If getting lost is your thing, check out our giant new Maize Maze, now relocated into the Farm Park.
Mondays – Fridays:
Unleash your competitive streak and have a go at their Tapnell Olympics with tug of war, welly wanging, sack races and more! Test your musical knowledge in their Barn Bingo; lots of pop songs that everyone will know! Plus, back by popular demand, Trotter Training with their delightful kune kune pigs (so cute!). Feel the breeze and enjoy the view as you whip through the air on their new outdoor zip wires! … and let’s not forget their mischievous Osmond the ostrich who will be causing mayhem too!
Plus, there will be craft workshops on selected days: Tie Dye workshops on Tuesdays, Wanda workshops (rotating each week: wands, slime and potions!) on Wednesdays and Pottery workshops on Thursdays. These will incur a small charge.
Evening entertainment…
Every Tuesday evening, from 23 July, following the success of last year, visitors can enjoy Farm Fun & Film Nights with a screening of Paddington (25 July, 8 & 22 August) or Sing (1, 15 & 29 August). From 5pm-7.30pm, all areas of the Farm Park will be open for children to play and let off steam, then from 7.30pm, settle down in the events barn and watch your favourite film. You are invited to bring a blanket to sit on and there will be straw bales around the barn too. A licensed bar, Captain Pizza and sweet treats will be available. Check out their special combo day tickets where you can stay and play from 10am – 7.30pm and then watch the film. Evening tickets also available online.
Every Thursday from 25 July, the Farm Park is open from 10am – 8pm so you can stay and play!
From 4pm, join the Tapnell Team for The Island’s Biggest Kids’ Party! They are going BIG on fun and entertainment! Back by popular demand, the internationally renowned Bubble Wizard and his Giant Bubble Stage Show – who knows, you may end up in a giant bubble yourself! Plus, they are taking classic kids party games and making them bigger and even more entertaining! Be mesmerised by their marvellous magician, and to round off the night, join in their disco and party dances! With fun prizes to be won, and a licensed bar, it will be a night to remember for all the family.
Come rain or shine, there is something to keep the family entertained this summer at Tapnell Farm Park!
