This summer, we're bringing family days out to life at the award-winning Kent & East Sussex Railway with an exciting programme of affordable activities designed to delight children of all ages.
Set against the beautiful backdrop of the Rother Valley, visit us for a warm, friendly welcome from our volunteers and enjoy interactive adventures on board our heritage trains, making it a fun and engaging day out for familes in Kent.
Join us on the brand-new Explorer's Express, where history comes alive through storytelling, or step aboard the charming Teddy Express, perfect for little ones and their favourite cuddly companions. Budding detectives can put their skills to the test in the Great Train Mystery, while creative families can build, play and imagine together in our ever-popular Bricks on the Move experience.
Back at Tenterden Town Station, we're hosting a range of hands-on workshops, from circus skills to folk art, willow weaving and calligraphy, alongside a fascinating model railway exhibition.
With many activities priced from just £10 when booked in advance, plus our Kids Go Free offer throughout the school holidays, there's plenty of value making it an affordable and a memorable day out in Kent for families during the school holidays.
