Based on the 2009 smash-hit holiday film, Nativity! The Musical will transport Tunbridge Wells into the mayhem of Bethlehem with laughter and fun guaranteed.
Follow the chaos and charm of Mr. Maddens, a struggling primary school teacher at St Bernadette's School, as he's tasked with producing his school's nativity play – with only the enthusiastic but wildly unpredictable Mr. Poppy to help him. When a rumour spreads that a Hollywood producer is coming to see the show to turn it into a film, the children, parents, and whole town are thrown into a whirlwind of glitter, giggles, and festive frenzy. Join them as they try to make everyone's Christmas wish come true.
This Christmas cracker of a musical was adapted for the stage by the creator of the much-loved film, Debbie Issit, and features a toe-tapping score of original songs including Sparkle and Shine, Nazareth and One Night, One Moment.
Produced by Trinity Theatre in association with Trinity Youth Theatre, this dazzling production is packed with treats. A community led cast including young stars and experienced local performers, show-stopping choreography, spectacular costumes and lighting, a live band and lashings of holiday cheer which will delight audiences of all ages.
