This free community festival for all ages that celebrates the River Medway and its historical importance in the development of Maidstone as the county town.
With a raft race where local groups and businesses compete to complete the 650m course stretching from the High Level Bridge to Archbishops Palace in home-made rafts.
Entertainment will take place all day at Coronation Square at Lockmeadow and the riverfront will be full of visiting boats dressed up.
There will be illuminated boats and paddle boarders in the evening and it will all end with a big bang the award-winning Firmin Family Fireworks Spectacular display which will go off from the top of Fremlin Walk in the town centre.
