About

Family-friendly festival on the Isle of Wight

The IW Story Festival is a special place for children and families to have fun together; where we can all CREATE, INSPIRE and IMAGINE.

Stories are all around us; not just in books and poems and plays and songs, but also in the news and history and the places we live. Over three days, the IW Story Festival lets you get lost in stories of all kinds.

You will be able to meet authors who have created vampires, wolves and gnorfs; hear writers tell of children, grannies, mice and more who use courage to save the day; find out about Astrosaurs, book witches and mayhem. Be inspired in three days of half-term fun with local and national writers, actors and illustrators, storytellers and creators....
