Isle of Wight Biosphere Festival 2025

About

Did you know that the Isle of Wight is a UNESCO bisosphere. It was awarded this status in 2019 and each yer the local community, businesses and organisations across the island come together to celebrate this status and celebrate the wonderful nature on the Isle of Wight

The Isle of Wight Biosphere Festival will return for its second year to the island between 28th June and 6th July 2025

With around 50 mostly free or low cost events to enjoy, this festival includes walks, talks, art, music, films, nature tours, citizen science and more. Look out for talks, craft sessions, open days at nature sites, biosphere learning, nature walks.

Look out for the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary and their FOCAS festival which aims to make science and conservation more accessible to all children. On Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th June 2025 as part of the festival they will be giving exclusive access to the Sanctuary for a very low price!

The full programme of events will be available here, the biosphere Isle of Wight map can be seen here
