Head to the Roald Dahl Museum in Great Missenden to celebrate all your favourite jumbly giant this summer. Enjoy storytelling from The BFG every day, pick up a trail sheet to explore the galleries to build your own giant or head to the craft room to make your own BFG-inspired crafts.
You can also join in with our wondrous workshops – why not make a snozzcumber out of clay or craft your own dream jar? You can also take part in a Swishwiffling Science workshop and try out all sorts of experiments including making some fizzing frobscottle. For drama lovers, there's a chance to act out the story in our Big Friendly Play workshop.
Pick up our special self-guided BFG trail and walk in the giant's footsteps along the very High Street that Roald Dahl imagined the BFG peeking into Sophie's orphanage. Or go on one of our guided walks with a BFG expert where you'll get the chance to listen to extracts of the book in the places that inspired it.
On the 23 August, we'll be joined by the Natural History Museum Tring who'll tell you all about the BFG's super powers and where they are found in the animal kingdom. From super hearing to super strides, you'll find out about a range of animals and create your own animal craft to take home.
See roalddahlmuseum.org for full workshop details. Please visit the website to book tickets.
