Romsey is on the main railway line between Southampton, Salisbury and Bath to the north west. Romsey also has rail connections via Chandler's Ford and Eastleigh to Winchester, Basingstoke and London to the north east. Romsey is served by South West Trains (connecting to Eastleigh and Southampton Airport Parkway), South West Trains Rail-Link (connecting to London via Winchester) and Wessex Trains. The Railway Station is located at the east end of Station Road. Richmond Lane Guest House is approximately 20 minutes walk from the rail station via a canal walk.
