About

Originally created as a burial place for the Anglo-Saxon kings of Kent, St Augustine’s Abbey is part of the Canterbury World Heritage Site, along with the Cathedral and St Martin's Church.

Enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and walk amongst the ruins. Visit the museum to uncover artefacts found during excavation work, and then head outdoors to enjoy a picnic in the grounds.
