The Swan Inn

About

When you pull up outside the Swan Inn you’re sure to ask yourself ‘what more could I want than this Georgian, wisteria-clad pub standing in a stunning village location’.

But just wait until you get inside! Jovial staff ensure everyone from city folk to locals (and their dogs) feel right at home, which makes for a warm and affable atmosphere. There’s a large log fire for those cold, dark winter months and a private dining room for cosy evening meals or a business lunch (free WiFi is available to those wanting to extend their lunch hour). Note the interesting pictures dotted around, which have been sourced at local auctions. Hidden out back is a sunny, secluded terrace and gardens large enough to lose your children in – a great place to while away the hours.

The Swan’s modern British cooking has gathered a large following. Whether you're after a quick snack, lunch or a slap-up feast with family and friends, there is some seriously scrumptious food to tuck into here. The freshest seasonal produce enhances unusual twists on old favourites, and the special's board changes daily taking full advantage of the best local markets can supply.
