The Courtyard Café

About

OUR STORY

When Dan and Alex met back in 2007, little did they know that they would very quickly be embarking on an amazing journey, privately and professionally. Daniel, a head chef, with 22 years of experience, both in London and Brighton, and Alexandra, a restaurant manager, who successfully ran a number of fabulous London restaurants for an equal amount of time, had soon realised that they made a great team when they took over a buzzing restaurant on the famous Portobello Road in West London, in 2010. A sincere passion for creating simple and tasty dishes, and a warm and friendly service, professionally executed, made this couple and their restaurant well established in the neighbourhood and further. A couple of years later, due to the arrival of their triplet boys, they took a step back, however, since July 2014, they embarked upon another amazing challenge – The Courtyard Café in Windsor. It’s private, it’s personal, and it’s professional, every single day!

OUR FOOD

Fresh, colourful, simple and very tasty, our food tells a story with each meal. The produce is delivered daily from local businesses, pastries are freshly baked each morning and cakes, scones and other delicious puddings are made from scratch.
The menu is full of British favourites and we are changing it seasonally.
Honest food that tastes as it should, served in a tranquil courtyard of historic Windsor!

OUR COFFEE

The Courtyard Café blend of coffee is unique, well balanced and full of flavour – a mix of Arabica beans from Brazil, El Salvador and India. With aromas of caramel and dark chocolate, this coffee works beautifully with milk, has a full body with low acidity and plenty of sweetness.
Each cup of coffee is important for us and we are passionate about getting it right every time.

OUTSIDE CATERING

We provide an outside catering service and work on a bespoke basis, which enables us to create a menu that is just right for your occasion, whether it is a conference, meeting, office lunch, a picnic, or just friendly get-together.
The choice is yours. From canapés, finger food and bowl food options, we will create an attractive menu package, with an even more attractive price package – just for you.
