Earth Trust is an environmental charity in Oxfordshire dedicated to promoting accessible natural green spaces for everyone. Earth Trust Centre sits at the foot of the Wittenham Clumps in Little Wittenham, and serves as a hub for various events and educational activities. The Centre features facilities such as the Earth Lab learning centre and the beautifully restored 19th-century Fison Barn, available for weddings, celebrations, and corporate events. From the Centre, footpaths provide easy access to visit Wittenham Clumps and Broad Arboretum, as well as longer walks down to the River of Life walking trail along the Thames and into Little Wittenham Wood.
Throughout the year, Earth Trust offers a diverse program of events catering to all ages. These include countryside management talks and tours, art and craft workshops, family nature-based activities, and the ever popular Pumpkin Festival, which attracts thousands of visitors. Upcoming events include the Spring Festival, celebrating nature-friendly farming, and Archaeology Dig Tours, offering guided tours of excavation sites around the Wittenham Clumps area.
Beyond the Centre, Earth Trust manages several nature reserves across Oxfordshire, such as Wallingford Castle Meadows and Abbey Fishponds in Abingdon, providing additional venues for events and opportunities for visitors to connect with nature.
For a comprehensive list of upcoming events and activities, visit Earth Trust's "What's On" page.
Entrance to visit Earth Trust Centre and it’s surroundings (including Broad Arboretum and Wittenham Clumps) is free, all year round. Ticketed events are listed on our ‘what’s on’ page: www.earthtrust.org.uk/whats-on
