Winchester Tourist Information Centre

About

Winchester's award-winning Visitor Information Centre is located on the ground floor of the grand Victorian Guildhall building, close to the city's high street, the statue of King Alfred, and Winchester Cathedral. The friendly team can offer help and advice on a wide range of subjects. They have excellent knowledge of the local area, including attractions, things to do, guided tours, places to stay, transport, maps of the area, and walks and trails.

The centre is also a beautiful shop showcasing some of Winchester's finest local produce from the surrounding districts' award-winning independent producers and makers.  Visitors can also pick up Winchester souvenirs, postcards, and publications here, and book onto guided tours, which set off from the Visitor Information Centre daily.
