Wander into a Winter Wonka-land this February at the Roald Dahl Museum!
Step into the world of Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and see original props from the 2005 classic – from Wonka bars to sorting squirrels and Oompa-Loompas. Once you've explored the movie magic, join us for a host of activities including splendiferous storytelling, creative clay workshops and wondrous walks!

Wonka Collection Cabinets
From Thursday 5 February
Included with Museum entry, suitable for all ages
Peek into our collection cabinets to see items from the Wonka-verse, including a special Golden Ticket, Wonka's signature velvet coat and even screen-used sorting squirrels and Oompa-Loompas.
Storytelling from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Wander into the Wondrous Woods for a storytelling session that goes beyond words! Our expert storytellers will bring Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to life, getting you involved with giant-sized noises and whizz-popping actions. It's free and plenty of fun for all ages!

Clay Factory Landscapes
Monday 16 to Friday 20 February
£5 per participant, suitable for ages 5+
Step into a world of pure imagination and sculpt your very own fantastical factory landscape! Using a range of tools and textures, you'll spend 45 minutes crafting a delumptious clay masterpiece to take home with you. It's marvellously messy fun for ages 5 and up – just bring your creativity and some clothes you don't mind getting dirty!
Charlie's Child Heroes Village Trail
Thursday 19 February
£5 per participant, suitable for ages 6+
Join our expert storyteller, Michael, for a magical stroll through Great Missenden to discover the real-life inspirations behind Roald Dahl's bravest child heroes. You'll explore the village High Street and local library, hearing wondrous extracts from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory brought to life as you walk. It's a splendiferous way for the whole family to see the world through the eyes of Charlie, Matilda, and more!
