Windsor Carriages on the Long Walk

About

What you will Experience

Windsor Carriages welcomes you to discover the wonders of Windsor Great Park by traditional horse drawn Hackney carriage.  Licensed to provide carriages within Windsor and the surrounding area since 1849.  Enjoy the spectacular approach to Windsor Castle on The Long Walk, pictured above.  Experience a horse drawn carriage journey enjoyed by royalty for centuries and exclusively shared with guests of Windsor Carriages by licence since 1849.

•Travel down the iconic Long Walk at Windsor Castle in your private carriage
•Take in the panoramic views of Windsor Great Park and Windsor Castle
•Photo included at Windsor's most famous location
•Meet the horses and learn more about them

Step into your carriage outside Windsor Castle and travel on to the iconic tree-lined avenue, created by King Charles II in 1680, named The Long Walk.  From your carriage you will pass sights such as Frogmore Mausoleum, the mausoleum of Queen Victoria and her husband Albert, Prince Consort.  View Windsor's Diamond Jubilee statue, commemorating Daniel and Storm, the two horses who drew the Queen's carriages.  Experience panoramic views into the 5000 acre estate which surrounds the castle; Windsor Great Park. Rest your feet and relax as your carriage takes you on a peaceful ride, away from the busy town.
