Come and discover how Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve might be the perfect place for you to reset and recharge from your busy life.
As we open the newly refurbished Visitor Centre at Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve, you might find this is now the perfect place for you to recharge and reset locally, whether you're socialising with friends or enjoying some time to yourself.
Spending time in nature is known to improve mental health and wellbeing, and the beautiful lakes and wooded areas of Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve are ideal for this. We regularly host Weekend Wellness events at the reserve, giving you the chance to socialise with like-minded people and connect to nature through crafting and mindful walking.
Between 10.30am and 12pm on Friday 6 March, you'll be able to meet members of our Wellbeing Team. They will be happy to talk to you about the positive impact time in nature can have, and how regular visits to the reserve have improved their own wellness. They can even demonstrate some simple mindfulness techniques you might like to use on your own walks.
With our brand new cafe, you can complete your visits to the reserve with a hot drink or a nourishing lunch. What's more, thanks to its large windows overlooking the lakes, you can now connect with the great outdoors from the comfort and shelter of the Visitor Centre in the most miserable of weather!
Meet the Wellbeing Team during this Welcome to Sevenoaks opportunity and you'll receive a voucher for 20% off purchases over £10 in the shop and cafe. Why not come along with a friend and catch up over coffee and a slice of cake, or treat yourself to lunch whilst admiring the view?
Whether you were a regular before the building project started or have never visited before, come along for this opportunity to meet some of the Kent Wildlife Trust team and discover how the reserve might become your new favourite place to be!
