If autumn is nipping at our heels, then it must be time for Titsey Trail 10k, an incredible community race through the Oxted Woodlands. This event enjoys some fantastic support so you'll get to enjoy a supremely wonderful race day atmosphere as your fellow runners carry you to the finish with cheers and camaraderie. The Titsey Trail welcomes runners of all abilities from experienced athletes to social runners who want to put one foot in front of the other in an off-road course set in a beautiful location with fab running folk!
The Titsey Trail is organised by people who like to run for people who like to run, and to make some money for local causes at the same time. The Oxted Runners club gets no financial benefit from the race - just a good feeling for having done something for the eider benefit. Be assured that any money we make from your participation will again benefit local charities.
Route Information
A single lap course through the lovely woodlands of Limpsfield Common and the High Chart of Surrey and Kent. The course is almost entirely off-road along tracks, footpaths and bridleways with a brief 200m stretch along a country lane. The course starts out flat to help warm you up and then climbs moderately through a series of slopes but with no major hills and with flatter sections in between them. A flat inner loop takes you to the water station at about 5.5km after which it is pretty much downhill all the way back to the start. The course does not include the infamous Titsey Hill!
