The Basing House Summer Market Returns with some great fun for all the family over the bank holiday weekend.

Browse a great variety of stalls for gifts, artisan items and locally made produce in our wonderful historic setting. Discover the finest goods supplied by local vendors, from beautiful, handmade jewellery, locally made trinkets and treasures, beers, ales and much more!  Basing House is of national importance, once the largest private house in Tudor England, which suffered at the hands of Oliver Cromwell during the English Civil War.

Refreshments will be available on site.

To keep everyone entertained, there will also be live preformances- 

Sunday 27 August: Community Choir performing summery pop hits from throughout the decades

Monday 28 August: Listen to live saxophone music in the courtyard, 11.30am - 3pm

Children can have fun with on the Fairy Trail, £2.50 per trail.

By car: follow the brown signs to Basing House car park which is off Barton's Lane near the Millstone public house. Satnavs use postcode RG24 8AE. Please note there is no parking, except accessible parking, directly outside the visitor centre and we ask that our visitors do not park in the village.
