There's no better place to meet Britain's wonderful wildlife than the British Wildlife Centre. The Centre will be opening its doors for the summer half term, from Sat 23 May to Sun 31 May. Home to the UK's finest collection of native wild species, the Centre boasts over forty different species, from tiny harvest mice, Europe's smallest rodent, right through to red deer, Britain's largest land mammal. You'll see rare Scottish wildcats, free-ranging red squirrels, badgers, hedgehogs, foxes and more. Late spring is the perfect time to spot new life emerging. Look out for cubs, kittens, fawns and more.
