The Spring Steam Gala 2026 at Bluebell Railway promises a celebration of the Golden Age of Steam!
The Bluebell Railway is delighted to welcome back its Spring Steam Gala in 2026, promising a spectacular three-day celebration of steam at its very best. The event will showcase an intensive timetable, impressive locomotive line-up, and the unmistakable atmosphere of a classic steam gala.
Across the weekend, visitors can look forward to intensive steam workings, the sight and sound of multiple historic locomotives in action, and numerous photographic opportunities as trains traverse the picturesque Sussex countryside.
With special guest locomotives including W8 “Freshwater” visiting from the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, 2999 “Lady of Legend” visiting from Didcot Railway Centre and lots more this promises an unforgettable weekend celebrating the enduring legacy of steam on Britain’s railways.
