This Easter, take the family to South Foreland Lighthouse and enjoy a themed trail around the lighthouse grounds. All the family can take part or help with this adventure, so join in, have fun, and collect your chocolate egg at the end.
31 March – 16 April 2023 inclusive – 11am to 4.30pm. Our shop closes at 5.00pm.
South Foreland Lighthouse is approximately 50 minutes' walk from our main car park at Langdon. We will have our additional parking at Wanstone open as well, which is approximately 20 minutes' walk to the lighthouse.
Normal car parking charges apply, and National Trust members can park for free.
We regret that you cannot bring your car to the lighthouse. If you have reduced mobility, a wheelchair or mobility scooter, please see our Additional Parking accessibility statement and South Foreland Lighthouse accessibility statement on our website for more details.
Admission to the lighthouse grounds and tearoom during opening hours is free of charge for all. Entry for the Easter Trail costs £3 per child (16 or younger) for both members and non-members. If you wish to take a tour of the lighthouse tower, this is free for members, or £6 per adult and £3 per child otherwise.
