Join us for a relaxing, hands-on workshop where you'll capture the essence of roses. Learn to infuse oil with your favourite rose petals, blend a personalised perfume using rose and other plant-based essential oils, and craft aromatic balms to support health and wellness – all to take home.
The workshop offers a chance to truly immerse yourself in the world of roses. Discover the art of extraction, and how to make your own rose petal-infused oil, a rose massage balm, and rose-perfumed oil. Each participant will design their own products with guidance from Laura, tailored to their personal needs, and will leave with their creations to enjoy at home.
As part of the workshop, we will enjoy a short walk through Borde Hill's stunning Rose Garden in bloom, where we'll use pruning shears to collect a few samples for the infusions. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
Holding this workshop at Borde Hill allows us to connect to many of the plants that yield the ingredients we will use in our plant infusions. The ingredients will be of the highest quality and organic where possible.
The workshop is open to everyone, and no prior experience is required. All materials will be provided, though you may wish to bring your own notebook and pen. There will be a short break for lunch (not included in the ticket price).
Your ticket includes:
- Workshop inside the Garden Marquee and all materials
- Rose-inspired products, using the highest quality botanical ingredients and organic essential oils, to take home
- A welcome drink on arrival
- Garden entry to explore the beauty of summer following your workshop
