West Dean Gardens in West Sussex is hosting the Plant Fairs Roadshow for the second time on Sunday 13 September 2026, 10am - 3pm!
Set at the foot of the South Downs, historic West Dean is home to one of the finest Walled Kitchen Gardens in the country. Stroll from the traditional Edwardian Pergola, Sunken Garden and Victorian Glasshouses to the more experimental drought-tolerant meadow covered in recycled stone mulch. The 49-acre St. Roche's Arboretum offers a brisk two-and-a-half-mile circuit walk that encompasses a fine collection of specimen trees and shrubs, as well as breathtaking views of the surrounding Sussex Downs.
Bring the whole family and explore the Plant Fair Roadshow nurseries at one of the best times for planting. Take a look at the Gardens Gatehouse for greeting cards, unusual gifts, garden accessories and West Dean grown plants. Finish your day with us at the new Gardens Kitchen, where you can enjoy delicious, home-cooked food prepared using produce grown in our kitchen garden whenever possible.
Standard Gardens entry applies: £13.75 adult, children under 16 go free (tickets available on the day).
For those with a Gardens Membership, entry to the Plant Fair at West Dean Gardens is free.
