Sunday Afternoons of Live Music in the Garden
Our much-loved Music in the Garden events return on selected Sunday afternoons this summer, bringing the perfect soundtrack to a relaxing family day out.
Settle into the stunning surroundings of our Azalea Ring, where live music fills the air – just bring a picnic, blanket, or deck chair and soak in the atmosphere. Don't forget your sun umbrella for a little shade!
Gloriette Café and Ginkgo Coffee Shop will be serving freshly-baked treats and refreshments, while well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome to join in the fun.
The events are included in normal Garden admission and free to members. Dogs on leads are welcome.

Sunday 6th July: Three Penny Piece
Enjoy a leisurely afternoon of vintage jazz when Three Penny Piece returns to Borde Hill's Azalea Ring, taking you on a nostalgic journey with their stunning three-part harmonies inspired by the iconic Andrews Sisters. Sunday 20th July: Katie Kershaw Band
Sit back, relax, and let the smooth, soulful sounds of the Katie Kershaw Band wash over you. This talented five-piece ensemble delivers a perfect blend of laid-back vibes and infectious grooves, all wrapped in their signature jazzy style. Enjoy an eclectic blend of timeless classics and feel-good hits, featuring popular songs from Sade, Carole King, Dusty Springfield, Joss Stone, Dido, Fleetwood Mac, and Amy Winehouse, just to name a few.
Sunday 10th August: Caveau
Enjoy an afternoon of eclectic jazz, blues, and beats with Caveau, a dynamic five-piece collective of seasoned Sussex-based musicians. With a passion for great music that transcends genres, Caveau reimagines popular tunes in their signature style, blending gypsy jazz, soulful blues, and rhythmic beats. From the sultry sounds of Billie Holiday to the unexpected covers of Careless Whispers and Sweet Child of Mine, their set promises a fresh twist on beloved classics. Sunday 24th August: The Grand Central Trio
