Join Ellen Barton, Textile Artist, in a relaxed and enjoyable textile art workshop at the wonderful setting of Belmont House. A chance for you to put aside the stress of daily life, develop new skills and immerse yourself in the creative process with exciting results.
You will create a stunning mounted textile landscape picture using fabric, thread and haberdashery using slow stitching.
The workshop includes step-by-step guidance to design and stitch your own scenic textile art. It will involve layering fabrics, which are then hand stitched in place. This is then embellished using a range of haberdashery which will bring out the depth and colour of your scape.
All materials and light refreshments are included.
