Midsomer Murders cruise from Hobbs of Henley

Our Wednesday Midsomer Murders cruises with afternoon tea with the award winning Time for Tea, will take you past several murderous locations which have featured in the TV sensation, “Midsomer Murders”. Henley often stands in for Causton, the HQ of Inspector Barnaby, and locations along the beautiful River Thames have proved irresistible to the directors in many episodes.

Much of your guided cruise will be along the world famous Henley Royal Regatta course, which featured heavily as the chairman’s murder site in “Dead in the Water”. You will also cruise past Hambleden Mill and Weir, which have featured as victims’ final destinations in two further episodes, including “The Animal Within”

Other Midsomer locations you’ll see include:

The magnificent Henley Business School at Greenlands which became the “Belvoir Health Club and Spa” in “The Flying Club”

The village of Remenham which was used extensively as the village of Elverden in “Country matters”

Other locations used in “Dark Secrets”, “Last Year’s Model” and “Stranglers Wood”

Time for Tea serves brilliantly British afternoon teas. Served on the finest gilt edged china, the afternoon tea experience includes an assortment of delicate finger sandwiches, petit fours, freshly baked local scones and cakes and loose teas. Please click here to see the menu  (Please note the tea is served buffet style)

So sit back, enjoy a delicious afternoon tea whilst enjoying a fantastic guided tour!
