Come and enjoy live band performances in the open air this summer. Windsor and Eton Business Partnership presents Windsor’s Live at the Bandstand programme 2025.
There will be a series of musical performances each weekend between Saturday 21 June and Sunday 14 September 2025 at the bandstand in Alexandra Gardens. Performances will take place between 2pm and 4pm, unless otherwise stated.
Family, friends and music lovers are all invited to bring a picnic and enjoy some great music in Windsor’s Alexandra Gardens.
This event is free. We'll be posting more details on the bands that will be performing, so please check back for the latest information!
Sat 6 September Windsor Fringe (2pm-8pm)
Windsor Bandstand Takeover is in its second year and is running two all-day open-access free-entry events this summer. They are run entirely by their own volunteers, many of whom play in the bands themselves. The Windsor Fringe Festival Committee have enabled the team to partner with the Friends of the Libraries and this year the focus is on self-penned original songwriting bands and soloists from the Berkshire area.
Enjoy performances from Punk Dylan, Vinna Bee, The Apiary and Aleena.
Sun 7 September 2025 Reading Spring Gardens Brass Band
The Reading Spring Gardens Brass Band has been entertaining the community in and around Reading since 1899 and is considered to be the oldest musical institution in Reading. For further details, if you would like to book the band for a concert or any other type of performance, please contact Rebecca Devaney on 0118 9414920 or e-mail contact@readingband.com
Sat 13 September 2025 Barnes Concert Band
Barnes Concert Band was formed in the 1970s by a small group of local residents in Barnes, South West London and is celebrating 50 years of community music making with special events during 2025. There are now 50 very committed amateur players of all ages playing in a traditional concert band with woodwind, brass and percussion sections. The repertoire spans classical music, big band, musicals and compositions for concert band by contemporary composers such as Adam Gorb and Nigel Hess. Under the baton of our Musical Director and former Welsh Guards clarinetist, Daryle Lowden, we are delighted to make a return visit to Alexandra Park in Windsor to entertain with toe-tapping music for a summer’s afternoon.
