The Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary is delighted to announce that our ever-popular Christmas Gift Fair (formerly known as the Winter Market) will take place on Sunday 19 November between 10:30 and 15:30. There will be over 40 stall holders present with plenty of choice to start your Christmas shopping.
There will be live music on the day to get you into the festive spirit, as well as a hog roast and BBQ serving from the Courtyard. Grazers Café will be open for hot drinks, cakes and snacks.
There will be restricted on site car parking due to the lack of space of parking; this will be allocated to Blue Badge Holders only. However, there will be a park and ride service available provided by Wight Coaches running from The Old Smithy in Godshill to the Donkey Sanctuary and onto St. Francis school in Ventnor. This will run throughout the day.
Or hop onto the Island buses, Southern Vectis number 3 bus stops directly at the top of our drive and arrives/departs every 30 minutes. There is also the number 2 bus which could be taken into Godshill and then use the park and ride to get to the Sanctuary. Alternatively, Island Line runs into Shanklin train station where you can pick up the Red Squirrel Trail and walk to the Sanctuary. There are a limited number of bicycle racks available too.
Entry is free and we are very dog friendly, so please do come and support this event and pick up a gift or two from the stalls. All proceeds go towards supporting the beautiful donkeys at the Sanctuary.
