We are pleased to celebrate women linked to West Dean as part of the Novium Museum's National Heritage Lottery Fund project, ChichestHER: Their Story, Our Inspiration, about the lives and achievements of women who have made positive contributions to Chichester District, past and present.
Join us for a behind-the-scenes tour of the West Dean Collections and Archive with our Collections Manager, Archivist, and Historic Objects Coordinator. We have been exploring the fantastic literary, theatrical and creative women associated with Chichester and particularly West Dean. Drawing on objects, books and archival documents, we will reveal new perspectives on the historic house and college. This is a unique opportunity to learn about the lives and achievements of women associated with West Dean, past and present.
After a tour of the house, you'll be hosted by the Collections Team in the opulent Oak Hall. Feel free to relax in the college surroundings, enjoy a cream tea and ask further questions.
