A celebration of the glories of the early spring season will be taking place at Hever Castle in February 2026.
'First Signs of Spring' is launching to coincide with Hever reopening its gates, following a short winter break, on Wednesday 11 February.
From this time, visitors will be able to take in the beauty of nature while walking through Hever's estate as its extensive grounds begin to burst into life once more.
Many thousands of snowdrops will carpet the grounds, interwoven with colourful crocuses. Guests are encouraged to pull on their walking boots and follow a self-guided trail through the estate to spot the earliest signs of spring.
Several locations, including the banks of the Outer Moat, Sunday Walk and Church Gill will be alive with early-flowering bulbs, while the newly redesigned Winter Garden will be the perfect place to see vibrant dogwoods in shades of red and yellow, alongside scented daphnes and special snowdrops.
