Handmade Oxford returns to beautiful Waterperry Gardens from 12–14 June 2026 for its sixth edition, bringing together over 175 of the UK's finest contemporary designer-makers in a stunning setting.
Presented by Handmade in Britain, this leading UK craft festival showcases exceptional work representing ceramics, jewellery, furniture, sculpture, fashion, textiles, glass, art and homewares, carefully curated to connect talented makers with collectors and design-led audiences. Waterperry Gardens is also known as the venue for the BBC series Make it to Market.
A creative day out
Handmade Oxford not only offers the opportunity to meet the extraordinary people who make beautiful handmade work, visitors can also enjoy:
- Live craft demonstrations, watch our exhibitors sharing their extraordinary skills like glassblowing
- Hands-on workshops led by makers, try your hand at crafts like willow weaving, lino cut printing and leather accessories
- Live music throughout the festival
- A curated selection of artisan food and drink
- The chance to explore the historic gardens while discovering unique, limited-edition handmade work
The Festival continues its partnership with the world-renowned Ashmolean Museum, alongside highly respected craft organisations who will present awards to outstanding exhibitors.
