Gravesham Light Festival 2027

About

The free light festival returns for January 2027. Galactic Glow will transform the winter streets of Gravesend into a radiant universe of cosmic colour, light and creativity.

Gravesend Free Light Festival

Marking the fifth year of the festival, Galactic Glow is inspired by galaxies, stars and space, and will feature light installations, music, workshops and illuminated performances for people of all ages to enjoy. Building on the festival's success, the council has increased its investment for 2027, bringing together an expanded programme of local and national artists.

Galactic Glow is a sparkling celebration of imagination and community, bringing people together to light up the winter with wonder, energy and starlit adventure.
